Rich Hudson
Chair
Rich Hudson is the CEO and third-generation owner of ReAgent, a multinational chemical manufacturing company founded in 1977. He started learning the family business on work experience at 14 and continued through university. After Rich took the helm in 2010, ReAgent experienced sustained growth and recently expanded internationally with the launch of ReAgent USA.
Rich established the ReAgent Foundation in 2025. As Chair, he channels the same entrepreneurial drive and strategic vision that built ReAgent into supporting charities focused on environmental protection, STEM education, and helping those with life-altering illnesses.
Outside work, Rich is an avid adventurer who enjoys running, snowboarding, wakeboarding, scuba diving, and travelling.
“I started the ReAgent Foundation because, having experienced a lot of commercial success with ReAgent, I want to give back. After almost 50 years of community support, I wanted to build something that goes far beyond the balance sheet. I’m incredibly proud to work alongside our Trustees to drive meaningful change for our local environments and communities.” – Rich Hudson
John Cooke
Trustee
John is a technology and transformation leader with an Executive MBA and extensive experience delivering complex business and technology programmes across financial services and insurance.
He currently leads strategic data and transformation initiatives within the global insurance sector, having previously held senior programme leadership roles in private banking, delivering complex digital, AI, data, and operational transformation programmes.
Alongside his corporate career, John has built a successful property investment business, bringing commercial acumen, governance experience, and a long-term perspective to the organisations he supports.
John’s passion for the outdoors began in childhood, spending countless weekends walking the mountains of Snowdonia with his family before discovering rock climbing, a pursuit that has remained central to his life ever since. Today he continues to climb throughout the UK and Europe, drawn not only by the challenge of the sport but by a deep appreciation for wild places and the sense of perspective they provide.
As a Trustee of the ReAgent Foundation, John champions the Foundation’s environmental conservation work. He’s passionate about protecting the landscapes that have inspired generations of climbers, walkers and outdoor enthusiasts, while helping make these environments more accessible so that more people can experience the physical, mental, and social benefits of spending time in nature. He believes that safeguarding the natural world is both a responsibility to future generations and an investment in healthier, more connected communities.
“The mountains taught me that the greatest landscapes are never truly ours – they’re simply entrusted to us. I believe we have a responsibility to protect them, restore them where needed, and ensure future generations have the same opportunity to experience the adventure, perspective, and wellbeing they provide.” – John Cooke
David Granat
Trustee
David brings a diverse background in engineering and community-focused property development to his role as a Trustee for the ReAgent Foundation. After graduating from Oxford Brookes University with a degree in Electrical Engineering, David spent years in the automotive industry before transitioning to the property sector.
David founded OX Living in 2016 and serves as CEO. Under his leadership, the company creates and manages premium co-living house share communities for professionals across Oxfordshire.
David’s work with OX Living shows his commitment to social responsibility and community enhancement. He has championed local mental health initiatives, establishing a partnership with Oxfordshire Mind, a charity that provides support services to those struggling with mental health challenges. From sponsoring their annual “Mental Elf” fun run to participating in community outreach events, David raises awareness for mental wellness to drive a positive local impact. Building on this relationship, OX Living is also sponsoring Oxfordshire Mind as their wellbeing partner for the Oxford Half Marathon, where members of the team and their housemates will be running to raise vital funds. He brings this dedication to the ReAgent Foundation.
“I’m honoured to serve as a Trustee of the ReAgent Foundation. Rich created the foundation from a genuine desire to give back, and I was privileged to be invited to join him and the other Trustees in supporting that vision. We’re all in a fortunate position, which brings an opportunity to make a positive difference. Together, we carefully consider where the ReAgent Foundation’s support can have the greatest and most lasting impact.” – David Granat
