Three Peaks Snowdon Training Hike

The ReAgent Foundation team recently completed a training hike of Snowdon in preparation for the 24-hour Three Peaks Challenge.

It was a day full of awe-inspiring scenery and camaraderie – and it was also a taste of the physical endurance needed to complete the challenge.

The day was everything a training hike should be – fun, challenging, and full of positive energy. We enjoyed plenty of laughs and good spirits, which carried everyone through to the end. Homemade flapjacks helped too.

The first half of the hike demanded real effort, with a steep ascent that put our leg muscles to the test. The weather was gorgeous until we reached the summit, where we were met with hail and a dusting of snow. Conditions improved on the descent, and we were treated to a beautiful sunset.

More importantly, the entire team completed the hike within the timeframe required during the actual Three Peaks Challenge. This was a big confidence boost. We know the challenge will be tough, but we’re ready to take it on.

We ended the day with a well-earned pub dinner and a few celebratory drinks.

The 24-hour Three Peaks Challenge is the ReAgent Foundation’s first fundraising event. Team members will attempt to hike the highest peaks in Scotland, England, and Wales – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon.

The challenge reflects one of the ReAgent Foundation’s core goals – to protect the environment. Snowdon is the last leg of the Three Peaks Challenge. It’s also home to one of our 2026 charitable partners, the Snowdonia Society, who work to preserve this breathtaking region.

Participants are already working hard to raise money. You can get involved too.

Donate today and help the ReAgent Foundation strengthen communities and protect the natural world. All funds support our future partnerships, volunteering programs, and other charitable initiatives.
