The ReAgent Foundation is proud to announce the 24-hour Three Peaks Challenge, the first of many annual fundraisers.
From 5-6 June, ReAgent employees will take on three of the UK’s most iconic peaks, raising funds to support the ReAgent Foundation’s charitable initiatives.
How the Three Peaks Challenge Works
Over the course of the challenge, participants will attempt to hike Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon – the highest peaks in Scotland, England, and Wales. They’ll cover approximately 23 miles of hiking and 3,064 metres of ascent.
The journey starts at Ben Nevis, moves to Scafell Pike in the Lake District, and finishes at Snowdon in Snowdonia National Park. It’s an intense physical challenge requiring stamina, determination, and teamwork.
The 24-hour Three Peaks Challenge is a collective effort. While some ReAgent employees hike, others will keep the event on track by transporting participants between the peaks and sorting snacks, meals, and drinks. Plus, everyone at ReAgent can get involved in fundraising on behalf of participants
In the lead-up to the challenge, employees will work to raise money through sponsorships from family, friends, colleagues, local businesses, and the wider community.
Protecting the Environment
The Three Peaks Challenge reflects one of the ReAgent Foundation’s core goals – to help protect the environment.
It’s fitting that our first fundraising challenge will take place in landscapes that make events like these possible. Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon are the exact ecosystems we need to respect and care for.
It’s also fitting that the challenge ends in Snowdonia National Park, home to one of our charitable partners, the Snowdonia Society. They’re working hard to protect the natural landscape and wildlife of this breathtaking region.
In addition to raising funds, the event reinforces an important principle – preserving the UK’s natural landscapes must remain a priority for current and future generations.
Expanding Our Reach
All money raised from the Three Peaks Challenge goes to the ReAgent Foundation. These funds support future partnerships, volunteering programmes, and other charitable initiatives.
